Transitions

Grad School is done, with one major caveat. (Master's Defense in 2-3 weeks).

My last final was yesterday, for my Fluid Mechanics course. It went well. Very similar to the sample finals I had reviewed, so no surprises. My other class was final-less, so that's done with as well. My TA responsibilities ended today, when I helped proctor for a 3 hour statics test. I think I'd just as soon take it as proctor...phone or no phone it's still boring.

In more fun news these finally showed up...

New Irons (Mizuno MP53s)
4-PW (24, 27, 30, 34, 38, 42, 46 degrees)
Project X 5.0 Steel Shafts

I have had my previous irons (Mizuno MX-23s) since December of '05, and they've seen play for five-plus golf seasons, the equivalent of ~ 430 rounds of golf, and thousands of range balls. They were also the iron set that saw my first extended stretch of comfortably single digit handicap golf ('06-present). About all my old irons didn't do for me was get me a hole-in-one, although a couple of them came close, most notably an 8-iron shot. Maybe I'll have more luck with this set.

  2. I'm flooding golf companies with resumes, and Ping is looking promising. I'm applying for product engineering r & d positions.
